WRITE YOUR SOLO SHOW – ONE-HOUR WORKSHOP
Have you dreamed of writing a one-person show, but didn’t know where to start? In this one-hour workshop, you will focus on finding that one-person show that lives within you, whether you are aware of it or not. Many actors (and non-actors) often want to write solo shows, but fear they don't have a story to tell. Through writing exercises and one-on-one work with the writers, this class will explore how every human being who lives and breathes has a story within them that is worth telling – and often many stories. You may also be someone who wants to write a true story based on someone else's life and that too will be discussed. This class will address fears, insecurities and doubts that often arise in the creation of a one-person play. Exercises will be given, structure questions examined, and goals set. At the end of this hour you will have a clearer sense of the story that lives within you, and you will be on track to fulfilling your dream of writing and performing your one-person-show.
